School Profile

The school is located at No. 8 Onyasia Crescent in Roman Ridge, Accra, which has been carefully planned and offers an idyllic setting to enhance the education of your child. Our facilities boast modern well equipped classrooms, three IT Labs, a Multimedia Centre with a Language lab, two libraries, three science laboratories, a specialised Art Room, a music department, a dance studio, a children’s activity playground, a skittle alley, a climbing wall and abseiling tower (for in-house adventure activities), a basketball court, and a large games area. A modern clinic is on site staffed by a qualified SRN.

From the time your child enters the school he/she will be taught from the English National Curriculum and the English Preparatory Schools Curriculum. Courses on our programme include English, Mathematics, Science, French, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Computer Awareness, Music, Physical Education, and Art & Drama. A full programme of diagnostic testing is also available to all children.

This gives teachers and parents an insight into the children’s strengths or weaknesses. Once established, extra attention will be given to the areas where it is most needed.

All teaching is initially based on the English National Curriculum for the Foundation Course and Key Stage One, after which the pupils progress to the 11+ examination, then take the full range of academic subjects at the 13+ Common Entrance & the IGCSE Courses with the Cambridge Board. Thereafter, pupils continue onto our A Level programme which offers a comprehensive range of Courses.

The school also runs an ESL class which has been established to accept and integrate pupils, who do not have English as a first language, into our educational programme. This has proved very popular, particularly with Francophone families.
